Highland Park is more than the backdrop of the Lilac Festival — it’s a living landmark shaped by vision, artistry, and community. Designed by famed landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, the park was created as a place for beauty, gathering, and inspiration. Today, it remains home to thousands of lilacs, historic landscapes, and stories that continue to unfold each year.
